4 month review of RST X-Kevlar Tech Pro Jeans
Discussion
I've written a review of the RST X-Kevlar Tech Pro jeans. Please have a look. If you encourage me, I'll do more
I'm not sponsored by manufacturers and don't get freebies. There are no affiliate links in my articles. I also do crash testing on actual roads with all types of motorcycle materials, not so much whole garments. Hopefully this will help consumers make better choices.

Feel free to ask me anything here or on my page. I’ve got plenty of free time since taking early retirement.

Thanks for the in depth review, I have only tried mine on.
How do they compare to the bull-it sr6 lined jeans for abrasion?
Thanks for the question. The RST’s would be better in every way except one. First the better ways. How do they compare to the bull-it sr6 lined jeans for abrasion?
Similar Bull-it jeans scored about 5 seconds, per MOTOCAP in the reinforced areas. RST gets 10 seconds. In the none reinforced areas (cotton denim or twill only), the Bull’it jeans get about 0.5 second whereas the RST’s Cordura denim gets 1.0 second. So about 2x better.
The only area I think the Bull’it SR6 are superior is coverage. The Covec lining is much more generous in coverage than RST, particularly on the thighs and hips. RST’s coverage is just above the bare minimum to conform to the EN17092 standard.
I’ve got 2 pairs of Bull-it SR6 jeans (Sidewinder and Carbon black) and I still wear them. However, the RST have a lot more flexibility with the stretch in the denim and the accordion panels helping. They feel lighter despite being heavier due to the closer fit.
