Before I continue down the "buy cheap buy twice/thrice" route, can anyone recommend a better mirror for an adventure bike?

They will be going on a KTM 1290 Super Adventure R which does limited offorad, reason I want them is the standard mirrors are useless and cause massive buffeting (removed them and tried some super cheap round "off-road mirrors" to prove it was the mirrors)

Also, incase someone has better googling skills than me, anyone know the best price for a set?

I have bought multiple sets of the universal mirrors sold on eBay for circa £15 and haven't had any issues

And the more angular type

Itchy Boots has a set of mirrors on her bikes with some sort of ram mount at the top. I’m pretty sure she lists all her equipment on her web page, but if not there’s a YouTube video on her channel with all the gear she uses.

Tyan 49, had a set on his channel that mounted on ball joints like phone holder, ugly but practical.

I’ve had a pair of them. They’re hideously overpriced, and utterly function over form but they work very well. No vibrating (on a single) and because the range of motion is so big, visibility is great.

They’re expensive, but the quality is high, and you’re unlikely to ever need to buy more than one set.

She did have double take mirrors on her CRF300 until it fell over in the wind outside a customs office and the double take mirror plastic snapped off where it attaches to the RAM style ball joint.

I've tried many of the "cheaper options" and they all were on the lower side of the quality that I wanted.

While it could be argued that I can buy nearly 10 sets of the cheap fold mirror from eBay to one set of double takes, I was hoping the additional length and less vibration would make them nicer to use.

There's a point where you just want a nice set of mirrors that can be moved when you need to, that you can actually see out of when you are riding....

Think I might just bite the bullet and buy them. They can't be worse, can they?

They certainly look worse IMO, they look like they've been homemade - on that basis alone I wouldn't have them on my bike and the price is ridiculous for something so basic
