Great to see Iddon going well. He’s a good rider and the Suzuki is way better than people give it credit for.https://www.crash.net/bsb/results/1000887/1/2022-b...
Went along yesterday, this place is a little weird, for some reason there are endless barriers and attempts to sheep herd you into certain locations, it is very annoying.
For some reason there is a barrier halfway round Woodcote, I could not see a reason why, all the stands were shut, meaning in the heat of the day there was no respite, all for the price of maybe 2 stewards to staff it, very cheap. And you cant get to Maggots as they are building some monstrosity there, and likely to be that way for months until obviously it is done for the only event Silverstone cares about the F1 race
And really for the premier European Superbike series, you use not much more than a kart track? it is a decent layout and will be good for racing, but it would be like going to Brands once a year and only using the club track, it's a bit poor.
Having said that was great to see the top guys again, in nice weather paddock was very full, and crowd was decent. And for a tenner you can disappear when the boring stuff comes on and feel like it was still worth it!!

That was dire, especially compared to the great start to the WSB season, not helped by the track layout, Silverstone is boring at the best of times, sooner we get to decent tracks like Oulton Park, the better.
Great for Irwin though, didn't know about his injuries, surprised he didn't drop back at the end.
Doesn't seem much depth of field in the Supersport, could be another runaway year for Kennedy.

Well, considering his pre-season injuries, Glenn Irwin will be over the moon with that weekend. Fast, fair, confident, and assured with the 'blade fast through the speed traps as well. Clearly not a Ducati track, I'd expect Tommy to be at the pointy end when it gets to more "traditional" BSB tracks as PBM seem to be struggling. But Glenn, Kyle, and Bradley are clearly the form horses at this point.
O/T a bit, having watched BSB and WSB since 1998 on Eurosport it's a little odd not to have Jack Burnicle as lead commentator.
