Quick question, I'm about to part ex a bike and decided on a colour last week and paid the £100 deposit over the phone, nothing is signed yet, the dealer has confirmed the finance is in place and sent me the reg number, question would it be a pain if I wanted to change the colour i've picked to another they had in the showroom?

Thinking they won't be able to do it will they? They will have completed the pre sales checks on the bike I agreed on?

The one you’re buying is now pre registered I guess; as such a drop in value will have occurred unless they can use it as a demo. Don’t ask don’t get?

Why not just ask them? rather than asking strangers on the internet.

How can you not go for the green with gold wheels Z650RS?

I sat on a Z650RS in a showroom last year. The grey with the black on the tank looked more like a Yamaha colour way to me.

What's the worst the dealer can say? ... "No, you can't change the colour!"

Cheers

I placed an order for a bike and then decided I wanted a different colour.

A bit different to yours in that it wasn’t actually in the shop but it was in the build stage and was too late to actually amend the original bike.

They ordered me another bike and kept the one I had ordered as a demo.
