My first lot of quotes (passed my Mod 2 today :-) ) and consistently the cheapest three quotes seem to be coming from Ducati, BikeSure and BMF who I believe are all Adrian Flux by other names. I've had good and bad experiences with them in the past and so for not much more money MCN insurance are coming up. Is it worth the extra for MCN? I can't seem to find any useful info on MCN insurance as whenever searching for them all it seems to bring up is MCE for some reason who's issues I am aware of.

Cheers.

Well done on passing, I was in a similar position as you, I searched around and in the end I went with MCE, they have higher excess's to pay if you need to claim but the amount over the year compared to other big name insurer's was unbelievable, MCE were so much cheaper.

Unfortunately they went bust in Jan this year, I've just received notification of my refund is in the post, I've lost 6 months no claims (which is a pi--er) and I had to get another policy. I again went with the new MCE as again they were so much cheaper, so far so good. Just a sodding shame I lost those no claims discount (6 months worth).

Google the reviews on MCE, wouldn't touch them with a stty stick.

Bikesure and Ducati are fine, I've ensured extensively with both.

Non of my quotes are from MCE they were from MCN which as it turns out are Adrian Flux too. I might as well go with Ducati who are the cheapest of the four for what will probably be the same underwriter and policy in effect.

I wouldn't be touching MCE after what I've read for the last few months.
