Bike Intercoms?
Discussion
Any recommendations on a rider to passenger intercom? I’ll be taking the wife out for occasional ride outs so having something so we can communicate would be useful. Had a look on eBay and there seems to be a wide price range.. I don’t really want to pay silly money as it will only be used occasionally, but equally I don’t want something uncomfortable or has poor sound quality etc..
Thanks
Thanks
We have a set of the Freecons and they work perfectly, have had them since 2017 I guess.
Battery life is(all day) good , they are clear, used as rider to rider, past 90MPH it becomes harder to hear and range is around 800 metres in hilly areas , im sure high end intercoms do it better but for £30ish , hard to argue with.
Ive used them to connect to my phone and take calls etc.
Recommended.

Another thumbs up for the freedconn.
If you want to use phone compatibility I would splash out the bit extra for voice control (hey Siri/Google) as you have gloves on so can’t use a touch screen and I think I look a bit of a dick shouting “hey Siri get directions to The Range/pulse and cocktails” etc at the clocks where my phone holder sits.

That’s a good point and would be useful. Hadn’t thought about phone connectivity as well..
