After his 4th crash and horrendous high-side at the weekend, he's been diagnosed with double vision for the third time and will miss Argentina nand possibly more rounds.

Is it time for him to hang up his leathers before he has life changing injuries?

How long has he got on his contract? Can't see Honda spending another 15 million euros a year for more of this each season.

His contract runs to the end of 2024 and was 100 million for four years

His dreams was to surpass Rossi's 9 title, but he conspired with Lorenzo to "keep the title in Spain" and stip Rossi winning his deserved 10th

Looks like the curse of Rossi has hit again

He won't pass 9, and may well end up permanently disabled.

Hopefully not so disabled that he doesn't see the Italians regularly beating the Spanish in MOTOGP

Even MM admits he isn’t as fast as he was.. Father Time and numerous big crashes take their toll.. It feels to me that he doesn’t ride with the same ‘I won’t crash & won’t get hurt’ attitude anymore. His confidence definitely seems affected..

He certainly needs to change his approach. Whether that means he's no longer 'Mark Marquez', but at least he won't end his career through injury.

He doesn't seem to be able to resist pushing over the limit like he used to, but currently he's not in shape to make the amazing saves and doesn't bounce as well either.

He's doing what he did years ago and trying to push to the max until the bike protests and tries to spit him off, it's a different bike something he is unfamiliar with and he's trying to do what he did previously, reaction, physique isn't the same now and he's going to end up seriously injured if he doesn't change his attitude or worse.

We'll never see him win another title, 2022 is another year lost regardless now, he won't have many left until his speed vs risk declines, and there are other riders nipping at his heals in MotoGP and Moto2.

I wouldn't say he deserves all he gets but I would sit well with me if he didn't beat Rossi's amount of titles.

I just hope he stops before he really does something really bad that will ruin the rest of his life. Maybe he should go car racing with Rossi.

Diagnosed with double vision for the third time, and the last one was in November I seem to have read. If true, that's surely not wise to continue. A lot of other sports are taking head injuries very seriously, MotoGP doesn't appear to be doing so. Somebody needs to step in for his own health, and that of the other riders....

My opinion hasn't changed of what I said when he came straight back after breaking his arm..

Either his team, or Dorna need to step in and save him from himself..

I get that he wants to beat Rossi in the number of world titles, but how far is too far.. It took a while for him to get over the double vision issue before, and I suspect he'll miss a few races this time round, how many remains to be seen, but it won't take too many to write off his changes of winning the championship this season. Every bump on the noggin now is surely just going to result it a return of the same issue.. And surely every time it does, he is one step closer to never regaining his vision properly..

There's not much point in being rich if you can't enjoy because you've trashed your eyesight..

I must admit after watching him stagger about after that crash, and the way his engineer reacted, I did think maybe it's time to do something else.

I think MM has shown that his drive to win comes at little thought of expense - of either himself or others. Intervention may be required to save MM from... MM.

I think Moto GP and Dorna may need to step in now. The way he was in Madelika reminded me of the weekend when he had his crash that broke his arm.
It’s not safe for him, and people around him.
Ive had genuine fear for him, that will be him jmissing 4 out of the last 5 GPS at the end of Argentina. The stats don’t lie and his crash stats are pretty terrible. I’m worried he’ll be eating his tea out of a straw if he doesn’t cool it a bit.

Iker to make a come back?

Exactly this. He's a multi millionaire, easily set for life.

He shouldn't race again. All the money in the world won't restore his sight once he's severed his nerve/s and gone blind.
I daresay he'll l push on regardless. He thinks he is super human, I fear disaster awaits...

Whilst I can understand the dislike of MM93, I must admit I flung my lot in with him during his last Moto2 race, he was on another planet from everyone else; I watched the race in slack jawed wonder.

2019 he was utterly dominant, even though there were plenty of close races, his podium record was incredible. The first race of 2020 he seemed head and shoulders above the rest, until he was spat off. That's the guy I want to see again, the guy who makes it look like he's mastered a video game and is on another level from the guys around him, which in turn forces them to up their game. I feel we've really been robbed for the past two seasons and the prospect of not getting to watch him get his head around this seasons bike is a bummer. We've missed seeing the guy who surpassed "the Aliens" at his very best and the more time passes the less chance there is of seeing him again.
