Can't find part for CBR600RR track bike
Discussion
Wondering if anyone can help direct me to find a part for my bike.
My bike has the HRC catch can setup and the return pipe goes on to the oil filler cap except the filler cap is replaced with an open connection that the hose can screw on to. Picture below but I can remove the hose tomorrow if anyone wants a better picture. Honda call it an oil return joint (the red piece).
Mine is cracked and I get some misting on my boot when I'm on track so it needs replaced. HRC part is £120 for this tiny bit of metal but it's now discontinued and can't be found anywhere. I struggle with paying that much for it even if I could find one. Anybody know where I can find an alternative?

Another option is just bin off the catch can set up and return to std. The Moto2 engines didn't run the system pictured, and they were a impressively resilient motor
I did think that might be what I have to do in the end. It’s a great little bike but some of the ex-race bits on it aren’t the easiest to find or work with. jock mcsporran said:

If you could do me a diagram with dimensions/thread pitch etc I'm sure I could make something up for you ??
That would be fantastic. I’ll try and sketch up some dimensions. I’d be tempted to buy a standard oil filler cap (if’s metal, some std ones are plastic) then hand it to a engineer chap to drill it out and add a spigot poking upwards to clamp on that tube.

Won’t the thread / pitch be very odd / bespoke if it’s the oil filler hole?

Seems to be a fairly standard M20 x 2.5I’d be tempted to buy a standard oil filler cap (if’s metal, some std ones are plastic) then hand it to a engineer chap to drill it out and add a spigot poking upwards to clamp on that tube.
Depending how big the hose is you might be able to just find one of the shelf - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163261494780

Padgetts or Ten Kate Racing may have the parts.
Saying that, we raced a SuperStock and SuperSport CBR600 for many years in the UAE Qatar with out this set-up.
Padgetts isn’t far from me so I’ll pop in on the off chance. Saying that, we raced a SuperStock and SuperSport CBR600 for many years in the UAE Qatar with out this set-up.
The bike is an ex TT bike and seems to have just had the entire HRC catalogue thrown at it

As said, they ran perfectly well in MotoGP for many years without it
They were impressively reliable motors. The ExternPro prep undoubtedly helped, but for so many parts std they took a lot of abuse. And just kept firing up for more, they obviously liked it hard…
