Can’t find the answer on their website and cannot be arsed to spend ages on the phone.

Their MotoGP coverage- is it all just live or can I watch on demand ?

I like to watch the sessions of an evening rather than waste a nice sunny day.

Been using Dorna Vidpass for years , buts it’s doubled
In cost this year.

£119 up to £200..

Races are live, they then appear on the app a few hours (sometimes it's Monday before they are on) later - much slower than videopass. They often used to have the podium riders in the thumbnails when you opened the app, though! Not as easy to watch the races afterwards without seeing the results somewhere in the app, I used to get my Mrs to open it and find the race for me!
Practice sessions are live but they didn't use to upload them to the app.. They might do now though, I don't know.

, I've used videopass for a couple of years and probably will do again for this year, you can get it for €139 if you use a Vpn
I like the spoiler free option, and the fact its easier to use when travelling. I used to find vpns often blocked when using bt sports overseas, I know you can try other connections and work around it but it was still a pain.
I have Samsung phone and TV so can easily mirror to my TV with videopass, I recall the bt sport app deactivated mirroring a couple of years back.

I just set a series link for it and watch at my leisure off the TIvo box.

Have I misunderstood the question?

Yes. You watch telly like me and I’ve just added BTSport back onto my tv / broadband package for the Summer. It’s now gone up from £39pm to £65pm (9 months at £26 extra = £234 so it is more dosh).

Others will watch it online through an App but have no recording device in the house to watch at leisure. Answer above yours probably covers it. Sounds a faff to me.

Zara I, we don’t have any tv boxes currently and rely on the smart tv streaming services.

Can someone tell me a bit more about the VPN option, that won’t land me in jail ?

Set your vpn to somewhere in Europe (I used Germany) then log into your account on motogp.com and purchase with a credit card. €139.

I don't want the football and other stuff that bt offer so videopass is a winner for me.

You can set the BT Sport app to open on a 'spoiler free' page.
I'm the same as you, I tend to catch up through the following week. All the races are available on the app but not qualifying which is annoying.

This is what I've done in the past, but now if you don't have a German credit card it won't let you purchase a German subscription.

That's a recent change then. Must be a workaround though...

Can't remember where my location was set to, think it was Holland. Just checked the auto-renew (because talk of £200 shocked me) and it was €139.99.

No 139 euro option for me when on VPN to either Netherlands or Germany.

Guess I'll just have to fork up £25 a month for BT sport frown

Been watching nearly every race live since 1996. This year our monthly bill is rising from 66 to 87. So we are cancelling the lot and will just watch next day on itv4. Who wants to be in front of TV at weekend anyway

Last season I ditched BT Sport due to cost - I found live streams available in HD from multiple sources, including an Australian broadcast. It seems it was the middle of the night in oz & some of the pundits/commentary team were definitely the worse for alcohol - was a pretty good watch!!

Sounds great, would have been even more amazing if Stoner was in the race!

There are obviously ways around watching it without paying, but they are fraught due to buffering and user count meaning quality suffers.

If you're with Plus.net they do BT Sport for £15/month. They reckon you can cast again too.

This is why I've never had any subscription, streamed a few of them last year but got tired of wasting a Saturday/Sunday afternoon on the sofa. The Quest highlights are enough for me.

I was about to renew the BT Sports App, having had it for years.

But given the price increase, forget it. VPN for a buttons a month and the qually / race is live on ServusTV, Germany or Austria. Not too worried about the commentary, it was pretty repetitive and ste on BT anyway.
