New bike kit... Merlin.

Just a "thank you" to whoever recommended Merlin gear recently.
Getting old and decided to treat myself.
Looked into their stuff and a new Kurkbury jacket has just been delivered. I had reservations, as this will pretty much be my first bit of bike specific kit (other than a couple of lids and some gloves)... and, barring a house, vehicles, building materials and a hi-fi, one of the most expensive single items I've ever bought!
Does look and feel like a very nice item and should do the job far better than my old flying jacket, even if I'd never envisaged buying a jacket that comes with a user manual!

I bought mine from Urban Rider, there's a size chart on there. My chest measurement was 42", size chart showed a Large as being 42-43". Fit is spot on, just enough room for a sweatshirt as well if needed. Urban Rider's price was between 10 and 25% less than prices I'd seen elsewhere. Delivery was only a few days, but tracking info wasn't updated so I had no idea when it was coming.
