Anyone Rented a bike in Germany?
Discussion
I am heading over to see my inlaws with the family in July/August to Dreidorf. I was planning to take my bike over and travel separately but have decided against it for a number of reasons.
However, I wouldn't mind hiring a bike for 2-3 days over there to explore the roads. I asked my inlaws but they have about as much interest in bikes as I do in tap dancing so didn't have a lot of success there. Ideally somewhere I can borrow kit from too instead of lugging everything over in the already packed car!

Hertz seem to have a bike rental operation across a number of European markets.
I thought they were in Germany too, but it turns out the nearest HertzRide office to NW Germany is in Paris!OP - it looks like you won't be that far from the 'Ring. Do you think there will be any bike rental companies round there?
Biggest Auto Club ADAC has Bike rentals to offer, probably no own fleet but contracted dealers :
https://autovermietung.adac.de/motorrad/checkout/#...
Enter City, enter day of rental & return, and choose bike type.
If Driedorf gives no result, try Giessen as I did.
Hope you have some good weather and nice rides.
