Anyone used them at all? Are they cheap chav cannons or good VFM? Fancy something a bit better than OEM but it's for a 2008 Fazer so not in market for a full Akra system...

Fitted a set of headers to a VFR a few years back. It was OK. Kept it will the Standard can though.

Should probably add that I had it for two winters by the sea and it was good.

I’m just about to order a full system for my Pan Euro, so hopefully they’ll be decent!

Can’t be any worse than the shambles of the black widow that’s on it… huge mistake but that piece of st!

When I got my VFR800 it had one of these on
https://delkevic.co.uk/silencers/delkevic-exhaust-...
After a while I had to take it off as it was too loud and set the car alarms off in the underground car park.

Gave it to my mate he loves the amount of noise it makes.

I've got one on the GSXR - it's not chav and loud, it's the total opposite! Long, silver and quiet, so I can get the bike through noise tests smile. Seems decent quality and not too ££

My experience of them is the opposite too the above posters. I've had two and they have both ended up blowing out of their own arses within a year. I won't get another.

Crumbs, what a variety of experiences! Quality control appears to be variable, as does noise. Less worried about the neighbours now as someone has properly bashed the rear bumper on my Impreza...and I'm going to move from here in South London to Scotland.

But as it's an underseat silencer access is a pain. Maybe I should just spend the extra £100 on Scorpions I know are good quality, or put in a (very) cheeky bit for the Akrapovic set on eBay.

Was always impressed they made a stainless 4-1 manifold for the old oilboiler gsxr at a good price. Then they stopped doing it.

I've had mixed experiences with Delkevic. The cans themselves appear to be really nice quality for the money, but the link pipes/collectors are pretty poor - the Y piece on the last system I had from them was so poorly finished inside it made an audible chuffing out of the exhaust.

If your bike just takes a slip on can or has a straight link pipe, it'll probably be fine - but you get what you pay for.
