London Bike Show - Excel

I haven't been for several years. What put me off was the expensive parking & horrible, overpriced 'food'. I'm not sure if the access roads have been improved since, but it was a nightmare driving the last couple of miles - traffic chaos!
I think there are some reasonable discounts to be had, but it's an expensive day out so doesn't really stack up for me....

Going tomorrow. For some reason I like this show even though it’s small and expensive.
I’ve got some good bargains here before but not expecting anything much this year. Stock was limited last year so there just isn’t all the end of season stuff there usually is. I think only Helmet city and Infinity of the big stores are going to be there.

Ok day out. As I said before for some reason I enjoy this show. Some of the auction bikes were lovely. CCM Ti nice but expensive!
Charlie Boorman was there with a lot fawning going on around him. Henry Cole’s mate, Skid? Was there nobody noticed him, very down to earth. Peter Hickman as always happy to have a quick chat, good bloke.
No bargains as suspected. Both helmet city and Infinity are playing the game of labelling everything with either list price or “ask” But the show price they give you is the same as the online price.

While I find Charlie Boorman likeable on TV, why would people fawn over him?
Agree totally, hence why I commented on it. At the bike shows over the years there have been some properly big names around, no fuss, no drama, happy to talk but equally people don’t fuss them. Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
