Jacket of course. I couldn't fit it all in the title..

First biker jacket. Key is moverability, warm and protective.

I find many jackets of any type tight across the shoulders and back (no I'm not hench).

I've seen a Revit Newton jacket for 140. Worth the spend?

I would have a look on ebay or some of the used clothing shops. You will get a lot more jacket for your money. Cant comment on that jacket never tried one.

https://scrubbersleathers.co.uk/

usually have a good selection and there are a few other shops on ebay that sell used motorcycle clothing

I'm a weird shape & have had no end of trouble getting comfortable kit, gloves, jacket & lid being the hardest to procure....
I have a Rev'it leather jacket, which is excellent: great fit, competitive price, comfy & warm. I like their stuff, but not so sure about the daft brand name!
I have also had Weise stuff before - textile jacket was very good.

There is a reason why top jackets cost many hundreds of pounds, and sell. Top quality comfort, warmth and protection in a waterproof jacket will generally cost top quality money, and that's well above £140

As suggested, look at second hand gear. While cost is not a guarantee of any or all of your requirements being met, the likelihood is that the chances increase with cost.

Fortnine on YouTube did a review comparing various waterproof membranes. Basically you'd be better off with second hand Goretex than new not. I have a Rev'It Goretex jacket. It is waterproof- I used to have a pair of trousers with their own Hydratex membrane and ultimately they were showerproof and not waterproof.

+1 for checking out the “Re-loved” section at Scrubbersthumbup

There are some utter bargains, e.g. today’s stock includes a brand new BMW Rallye suit for half-price, barely-used Hideout leathers for £385 (reduced from £1,400 when new), etc.

Damien at Scrubbers is probably the UK’s best expert at reviving old kit to make it like new, and he’s picky about what he sells secondhand. I know he’s picky because he’s turned down selling my stuff!

Didn't realise they sold second hand stuff. Will keep them on my radar!

OP - definitely go second hand. E.g there's a 44 chest Rukka Goretex jacket on ebay for £160 at the moment.
