I've been looking at an Asgard metal shed to store a bike plus other bits in, basically because it is cheaper than a garage. Are there any alternatives to look at as well, or does anyone have any opinions on them?

We bought a Dunster log cabin and speced it with some barn doors the far end for easy access with an internal wall, so the Mrs and myself could split the internal space. Think ours was 6.5m x 3.5m.

It looks and feels lovely, its well insulated , warm but keeps the bikes in nice condition as well.

It did cost a few k but they do offer get smaller ones.

We’ve had a 5x14 Asgard for just over a year now. We’re right on the seafront. It’s very well made, and wouldn’t hesitate to put a bike in it( ours is a glorified shed). Yes, they’re a bit pricey, but I’ve seen nothing close with regards to fit and build quality. Powdercoat over galv also helped sell it to us. Only downside, is I think the delivery times are about 14 weeks currently.

Look at a recent thread I started on flat pack steel containers - several links in there

Interesting, thanks. Did you buy one in the end?

I haven't yet as I'm considering building something instead
