I get my "new to me" Superduke GT next week.

It was first registered 01/03/20, so warranty will expire soon.

Mercedes called me before my vehicle warranty expired for any warranty checks. Does this happen with bikes?

I could of course call my local KTM dealer and ask, but bikers tend to be a bit more abrupt, so I'd rather sound like a noob with a bit of anonymity.

KTM are not great with regard to warranty work I have found, depending on where you are the dealers are extremely hit and miss with regards to level of service, sadly more miss. As soon as you get the bike I would get it into a dealer for a once over for a bit of peace of mind.

I think KTM do an extended warranty these for the bigger Dukes also

Check you will get the "key card" (like a bank card with the key details on it).

Also ask for the "Delivery Certificate", you need the ID number from this to use the KTM portal which shows service history and recalls. (The dealer can get you this from the VIN I believe).
