BMW 2009 Keys - Main Dealer Only ?

2009 BMW - they don't have a transponder but they are the "laser cut" type that are hollowed out on the sides

Local locksmith said Main Dealer only and I'd just like to check

Not heard that one before, my experience is if they don't have the kit to hand they'll just make up an excuse...

Are you sure they don't have a transponder? I ask because one of the common failings on the the K1200S/R/GT (and, I think, other models of the period) was the ring antenna that stopped the key being read.

Yes, two reasons firstly it came with a plastic emergency key which I tested and it worked

Secondly I only need the key to fit the luggage

Ordered 2 for £20 so we;ll see what happens - they cut them from a photo !

2) Take a picture and cut from there - check
3) Post the keys TO YOUR REGISTERED ADDRESS - Hell no!
