I had some of their wired ones fitted and they work very well. I plug them into my Sena unit. The sound quality is great and the wind noise protection is better than my previous foam earplugs.
I was impressed with their customer service when one of the earphones stopped working and I had to return them for repair.

Mine are great.. on my second paid now as someone, clearly not knowing that they are molded for the users ears, stole them from me!
Hope they don't fit them properly and there is an annoying little whistle every time they use them, but think it's their bike and have spent months and thousands of pounds trying to identify and fix it.

Custom ear plugs with bluetooth (other brands are available) I just ordered some. Anyone else got some? Do they function as promised?
I have been using Ultimate Ear's Motorcyclist Bluetooth SoundEar earplugs for several years. They are utterly brilliant! They aren't cheap but have proven long-lasting – my Bluetooth earplugs still work like new. It's one more thing to remember to keep charged, but that's the same as your phone, and the earplugs work perfectly.

My only caveat is that you need to get a good mould of your ears. Previously, I had custom earplugs that didn’t seal well.
So, when I was having the Bluetooth earplugs done (at a bike show by Ultimate Ear), I asked them to take extra care for a good seal – and it was worth asking. They added adding a smidgeon more of the mould material to be certain of a perfect seal.

Is that a sena unit on your helmet? How well does that work? Do you have a long lead to flap in the wind, or a short on - so it pull out the ear plugs whenever you take you helmet off?I was impressed with their customer service when one of the earphones stopped working and I had to return them for repair.

I have Ultimate ears with wired headphones. I use them as they fit great as expected but the quality of the sound is horrid. But they are 4 years old so may have improved. I have £40 in the ear that blow the quality of UE out of the water form qualityWould I buy again nope from this experience. I have a set of standard UE plugs and disposable are better.
I've had some wired ones for over a decade and really like them. Would be keen on some Bluetooth ones but having just checked the price perhaps not!
However most of the time I tend to just use some 25 quid Sennheiser in-ear bud headphones and a Sony Bluetooth dongle, with my phone on a handlebar mount for music and sat nav. It's the best/cheapest combo I have found to work over many years.

I've tried in ear headphones but find they barely attenuate any wind and road noise which is why I went for theseHowever most of the time I tend to just use some 25 quid Sennheiser in-ear bud headphones and a Sony Bluetooth dongle, with my phone on a handlebar mount for music and sat nav. What cable length did you go for?I was impressed with their customer service when one of the earphones stopped working and I had to return them for repair.

They do a fantastic dual length option which works really well. It has a very short cable that plugs into the Sena unit on the side of my helmet, plus an extension cable if you want to plug them into something further away (eg phone in pocket or tank bag etc).Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
