Winter Project
Discussion
I think it's the first time in a few years that this winter I am bored and have itchy fingers to get out in the shed and tinker with a bike-engine, unfortunately The three I have need nothing doing to them ;-( So now I find myself debating whether to get a runned down ninja and tart it up over the winter months, maybe even a non-runner.... Am I alone in this mad thinking or is there others haha

I can understand it if it's a keeper
But I sold both of my project bikes at the beginning of lockdown because you could buy a decent bike cheaper than you could buy a project bike + parts
If you trust the seller I'll agree that you can make money on non runners but sometimes they were dumped in the shed because they were knocking etc
Saying that i still play with mine, nothing too drastic though, balance TBs, air filter, different exhaust and remap are on the cards

I also agree with you, don't mind breaking even and giving my time for free as I enjoy it, but don't want to throw my money away and I also don't plan on another keeper... I might have to purposely damage the trials bike :-)But I sold both of my project bikes at the beginning of lockdown because you could buy a decent bike cheaper than you could buy a project bike + parts

I was even looking at vintage static engines to play with, hurry up the summer!
