MCC - Anyone a member of one?

Always been intrigued by these clubs, lots seem to be a good bunch..

Anyone had any experience with an mcc?

No, but I do see a lot of wannabes wearing all the schizzle and the cut, whilst trying to look deadly serious whilst doing so.

MCCs or MCs?
MCCs are just clubs for like minded folk who are into bikes, some love track days and similar, most love drinking and camping. Usually called something tongue in cheek like the Soggy Pussies MCC, or the Chilton Foliat and District MCC. A neat little humorous patch finishes the job. If you like talking bks, hanging around in tents and jumping about to ska bands you'll probably fit in...
MCs are a different breed entirely. These are the guys with the backpatches, you'll have to "prospect" for a good while and you'd best be serious about committing.

Spoodler pretty much summed it up. If you fancy going the MC route then you need to be prepared to commit and learn as to what is and what isn't done.
So long as you don't give them any hassle, then neither MC or MCC guys have no reason to give you any.

Couldn't have said it better myself. The Iron Bull bike night had turned into a real stter when these guys turn up on their stupidly loud Harleys and little leather vests. There's another group not far away who are a complete bunch of tossers.

I've met a few people in those sorts of clubs / organisations. Maybe it;s my introversion / general anti-social attitude, but I found them to be a bit...preachy, a bit pretentious, a bit up themselves, an attitude of above-the-law.

There's one not a million miles from me that's been advertising for new members on FB recently (I found this odd as I'd always thought these things were a bit exclusive like joining the mafia.). A "21 support club" to some other mob, whatever that means.

I had a look through their images out of curiosity. They all looked very pissed off at something in the photos. I guessed they'd maybe just been told their BMIs
