Route suggestions for Northern Spain tour 2022

Looking for route ideas for a 1 week tour of Northern Spain starting in Santander (maybe 8 days) returning via Bilbao. What do you suggest? Decent hotels? nice towns with good bars and reastaurants....

The Old Gits are there in June next year (I'm already counting the days!!! ) We have a number of routes set up in MyRouteApp and I'm happy to share those if you're interested.

We were there in 2015 and 2016 - All of the hotels used were good.
