RIP Paul. Always tragic to see a biker lose their life doing what they love.

Saw this late last night, being a Ducatisti it means a little bit more, nice guy and taken before his time.

RIP.

Such a lovely unassuming guy, and with a lovely family too.
A true great, famous for his Imola 200 win, but he rode so many other bikes in so many championships.
A vey sad loss to the motorcycling world snd to his many friends snd family.

That's very sad. He and his wife (Barry Sheene's sister) were great friends of my last boss and I met him a couple of times at events. Charming people, a sad loss.

Very sad, I've seen him race in the Transatlantic series, but I'll remember his Imola Ducati on display in Mick Walker's showroom in Wisbech, and was mesmerised.

A couple of years later I had a 900SS.

Very sorry to hear this.

The Imola win is a great story, starting with Maggie accepting the job on Paul's behalf.

Very sad news, and i find it even sadder, when someone has risked their life, at top level racing, only to succumb just going about their normal life later on.

I often drive by where Hailwood had his accident, as its local to me, and it always brings a tinge of sadness.

RIP.

Lovely chap and a great business man. Sold me a Honda MT50 in Maidstone to get me started in 1984 and numerous Kawasakis from his Paddock Wood mecca. Hats off to him still riding at 78.Very sad news.

Just found out that Wes Cooley died last week.

Another name that will be familiar to the older gits among us.

Damn !
I have to be honest that I didn't even know he was still 'around'.

A true hero from my days (currently 65).

Can't believe that another Motorcyclist just ends up as a bottom line in some journal.
Whoever took his life shound be publicly hung, drawn and qurtered.
