I've just finished reading this. Imagine the massively high revs and sound of a 250cc or 400cc four banger but with the electrically augmented torque of a 1000cc Vtwin. Or being able to "sail" along on a little bit of electrical power when cruising along a motorway at a constant speed. I kind of like the idea of that.

No thanks.

They won’t be 15k rpm screamers. Parallel twin plodders more like.

Mpg isn’t a concern on bikes so it’s answering a problem which doesn’t exist.

Unless alternative fuel is a possibility bikes will be better off full electric.

I don't agree. Being stuck in the dark and rain, in the middle of no-where, when the all electric bike has run out of juice doesn't fill me with excitement. Being able to complete the journey using the parallel twin plodder does.

Having a parallel twin plodder with the torque of a large V-Twin from the electric motor also sounds like something worth having. I think this may be a good idea with a real future.

It'd need to be able to run for at least 20 miles on battery to get into ZEZ's otherwise it's pointless.
