Rubbin' is racing, as they say.

I say this as a JR fan ... it was just about acceptable.

I saw what SR had to say, but I reckon he's seen MM do worse!

Anyway, it was a pity JR binned it, but he was having to ride very hard.

TR looks like he'll be champ this year, and I look forward to him shaking MotoGP up, too,

Is that JR's championship down the toilet?

Have to say some of those early laps were some of the best, toughest and hard racing i have seen for quite some time, I would not like to be riding against Toprak, he is JUST like Kenan, very very ruthless, I tell you what I would pay a bunch to see him on a Yam against a fit Marquez, that would be box office.

Very unlucky for Rea, he was fighting his corner superbly, showing some true battling spirit, I have been a critic of him over the years but only of his decisions to give up on GP racing, he is showing some real grit against a ruthless guy who seemingly has the win it or bin it mentality he has not come across before

Bloody is, superb stuff all weekend from the SBK riders, ups and downs, loved Rea's mickey take at the end, as I say been critical of his off-track career decisions etc but you cannot argue his desire, I think mainly due to the the fact that for once he has a challenger, and a ruthless bugger of one aswell.

Broken mudguard gummed up the works or something for toprak . You would hope the team would check the bike over before a race but maybe all the bashing up close did it.
Makes title run in a bit more interesting.

WSBK has been great so far this year.

The fact that Toprak has been unlucky is what is keeping the title race close.

Collected by his team mate, an electronics issue dnf and the mud guard crash.

Really looking forward to the last few rounds.

I have nothing against JR but hope Toprak wins.

It’s not just Topraks misfortune, Rea has also been unlucky, 2 crashes the weekend just gone, crash at donnington and in the Czech round… he’s had to push hard this year, would be interesting to see how much difference that extra 500rpm would make.

I watched the highlights yesterday, and the pendulum swung one way then the other - fascinating stuff!

As much as I am a JR fan he did seem to be having to push his bike very hard to be competitive, and I never like to see a mechanical issue intervene like TR had in the third race.

But it does make the last rounds more exciting! I'd still put my money on TR though.

It is turning out to be an exciting Championship, with some great racing that reminds me somewhat of the MOTO GP Championship of 2008 between Valentino and Casey.

I think we are seeing just how good Rea is this season. He's riding on the absolute edge to fight Toprak. Yamaha have obviously made a step over the aging Kawasaki.

It's been a great season.

I haven’t really taken much notice of Jonny Rea or WSBK over recent years. However this year ‘I get it’, JR is massively talented clap Let’s not start on he should have gone to MOTO GP.
