Not the right thread but today’s racing of WSBK at Jerez has been cancelled after the ssp300 race was red flagged due to an accident. Doesn’t sound good…
Didn't look good on TV, a rider / bike hit by possibly 3 or 4 other bikes, but they didn't show replays :-( They immediately red flagged :-( And now two red flags in British version of same class, it does make you wonder if these bikes are not quite the right fit for this sort of series, I certainly think there ought to be less bikes on grid the international 300 series is insane, and they just look far more dangerous and errant than Moto3 riders.
Eurosport missed the moves O'Halloran put on Brookes at Knickerbrook, they were forceful to say the least, I've seen very few overtakes there and he did it 3 times to Brookes, he was pushing very hard.
The accident in SS300 was caused by 2 riders going straight on at Hizzys then pushing straight back in at Knickerbrook causing the pile up, it was not pleasant to watch and totally the riders re-joining fault, I hope they are penalised heavily for it as it made me feel sick.
Good days racing, perfect weather and can't wait till tomorrow for some more.

O'Halloran got his showdown off to a flyer then!
At least Taz can't get the blame for that off So sad to hear another loss of a youngster in this sport, I do feel something needs to give. Maybe smaller grids and less pressure, IDK ?
