Looks great to me, and a good alternative to a Ninja 1000SX

I'm very interested in getting one of these next year.

That looks really good!

I agree, could be a great bike.

It’s justifiable to give Suzuki a hard time for a truly lacklustre motorcycle range but maybe shouldn’t write them off just yet.

I even like the way it looks, and I can’t recall saying that about any Suzuki released in the last 10 years laugh

Motorcycles tend to all look the same, these days.
Can't say I like many of them.

These days?

I remember when practically every bike was unfaired with an across the frame engine, either a twin or a four depending largely on engine size. At the time a Honda 400/4 seemed to look different from a CB750 and a CBX1000 looked extraordinary. Now the 400/4, CB750, Z550, GS1000 etc all look much the same as each other and a CBX looks like one of them with two extra cylinders bolted on.

That looks amazing, the spec is very good as well, cases are about a grand or thereabouts, the price is very competitive, three year warranty, I think the Z1000SX has a rival.

The Z1000SX now needs a serious step to keep competing as even though there aren't any riding reviews of the Suzuki you just know it will be right.

A slight shame they are continuing to use a 16 year old motor. I know it's a great engine, R&D costs would be massive in a dying market, AND I know it's Suzuki (current V Strom having fundamentally the 24 year old TL engine) but you'd have thought they would want to move the game on a bit.

Why? Its a great engine, as you said yourself.

What more do you want?

Its plenty fast, sounds good, good economy, bulletproof.

Agreed, its well proven, bulletproof, as quick as you'd ever need and makes a nice noise, it also means the bike is a relative bargain and more affordable for people like me who don't have £18k to spend on a bike.

I have the old version and this looks to be a very well judged upgrade.

150BHP will suffice for pottering I reckon.

Might go and have a go on one when I am at the dealer next.

Of course, but continued innovation would be no bad thing would it?

That looks good Dave, the headlights looks similar to the new R1.

It does doesn't it? its in the running for next year, will need a long test ride on one as they are always great for the first hour and you don't notice the niggles till the second week of ownership rofl

This will need a new rear shock if its anything like the outgoing F. It does transform the bike though.

Not 100% sure on the looks tbh. It looks better than most of the old F models but I prefer my 2021 prereg in white with blue wheels. Doesn't take much to add new colours though.

Might pick one up in a few years after I've finished the £3k HP I've got left on mine. I don't feel like it's lacking though, apart from the hideous mirrors and indicators (and would have been the rear shock too until I upgraded to a Razor-R a couple of month ago)

Just waiting for the Trident to go so I could buy a GSX-S1000 2021 (New Model) but this looks like it will be more practical for the commute to work when I go on the bike and it has a TFT Screen and Cruise over the S1000, seems a bargain.

as a current ninja 1000sx owner

i cannot see much difference really on paper/web site except the price and brand preference

i'd interested as brand change as long as i can get just over 200 mile per tank at around 80 on cruise otherwise petrol stations dominate ride and it become a pain

pity the touring screen is an option, should be standard obviously no center stand so you need a messy chain oilier

What’s wrong with a paddock stand?
