Lots to look forward to this weekend:
Frankie's back, but in the big team with the latest bike. Apparently normal recuperation time for what he's been through is six months and he's had three so probably far from full health. New team, bike, engineer... he's not going to be on Fabio's case, but let's see if he can find consistency by the end of the year. Top 10 this weekend would be excellent IMO.
Dovi is back! Finishing ahead of Vinales would be unlikely, but will be interesting to see how he compares to the rest of the pack on an old but new to him bike.
Vinales is unlikely to be in the points this weekend: he was just under 1.2s a lap slower than the winner last time out, cutting that by a third (which is reasonable considering one race experience and he's tested here) would've put him in the points, but a likely resurgent Rins and possibly Zarco will tighten the competition for points.
Bestia will probably struggle to get in the points, a top 12 would be remarkable.

Vinales 1st and Dovisioso last - https://www.motogp.com/en/Results+Statistics/2021/...
Rain in the last 10 minutes so perhaps no one else was able to do quicker runs planned.

It would seem Vinales has gelled quickly with the Aprilia and it's true speed this year is being realised.

BT Sport have just announced that Michael Laverty is going to be running a Moto3 team from 2022 to support British riders, effectively taking over the departing Petronas team by the sounds of things..
Scott Ogden and Josh Whately riding next year for the team - https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/987797/1/ogden-w...hiccy18 said:
Three cracking races, can't get my head around Bestia though, rider of the day for me, although Remy was something else too!
