Hi,
My 2015 R1200GS, at 38k miles, is officially in need of a suspension refresh. I'm looking to have front and rear shocks replaced and forks serviced. The bike has ESA which I want to retain the use of.

I am based in the Guildford area. Can anyone recommend a suspension specialist in the south east they've used for this type of work?

I've heard good things about Wilburs shocks but am after genuine experiences.

Thanks

I’m in epsom and I’ve used Steve Jordan’s in Bookham for several years for my bike, can’t recommend them enough.

Certainly worth a call op?

I've just had the rear shock on my R1200RS rebuilt by Luke at https://ttechsuspension.com/ and can absolutely recommend him. He fully understands not only normal suspension setup - he has his own shock dyno and a collection of the usual springs and shims - but also the BMW ESA system. He is a pleasure to deal with and did all the work within a week.

There are a lot of happy customers and examples of his work on his Facebook page - T-Tech Suspension

Without breaching the "no shame rule" - I haven't had the best experiences there. Happy to elaborate by PM.

But to be constructive, HM Racing. Perry there is really, really good.

Thanks for the replies and recommendations, I will speak to these companies and let you know how I get on with the work.

I can thoroughly recommend T Tech Suspension as well. He refreshed my K1300GT ESA for me.

He charged a fair bit less than the likes of MTC, firefox etc, kept in contact with pictures of the whole process and is very pleasant to deal with.

There's a bloke called Denzo on UKGSer who refurbs ESA shocks, and I think he's actually somewhere in Surrey.

I'm surprised to read this post because I've heard nothing but praise for Steve Jordan’s suspension centre.
