Thinking of going somewhere in either October or Jan onwards. Anyone got any hints/tips/recommendations for a first timer?

I did Cartagena with No Limits. Was great value for money, and a really fun four days. Was like going on a school trip, everyone was pally and we went out for beer each night. I booked alone, and made friends on the way. The guys running it were decent, helpful and full of banter.

The track isn't overly hard, although only has one straight. Mostly sweeping bends which makes it flow nicely. I went late October/early November and was like the middle of summer over here.

Highly recommend.

I'm on Estoril in Oct with No Limits.

Best advice, just do it, its way more relaxed than a UK day, everyone is friendly so unlikely you'll eat alone etc.

If you can go in Oct I would rather than January.

It can all be done with hand luggage, load everything else on the stillage, job jobbed.

There are always newbies on every euro.

Thanks guys.

Thoughts on Focused Events?

I’ve heard they can be a bit wky here, but ok with their Euro packages.

NL Oct dates that are left don’t work for my mate.

While I've heard mixed things about Focused, but I've been to Imola and Jerez with them and its all been great! They don't run an open pit-lane until the end (when there are a lot less riders). I think if you are a very fast rider you may appreciate the open pit-lane format other companies do - but inevitably people then complain about slower riders cutting them up.
