Whilst many think it’s a done deal this year and Jason will be champion, this weekend’s racing at Silverstone could change this.

Whilst Jason holds a 30 Podium Credit advantage over Tarran, if that deficit is closed this weekend, you still have 9 races left in the show down. Either a winning streak for Tarran or 1 DNF for Jason could see things become incredibly close. You only need to look back at some of the unfortunate instances that occurred to Leon Haslam in preceding years to see how the title could be lost.

Tommy is also in with a shout and for what it’s worth is my favourite BSB rider.

Forget about those at the front there's far more at play for those trying to get the final show down places.

Currently Jackson is sitting in 8th with 154 , Ray 149 , Brookes 141.

Can brookes scrape thru ?

I hope Josh can. I’ve always show favouritism to those riders who do the IOM TT.

Personally I'd love to see Hickman take it. Long shot I know. It's been great to see what he can do this year when completely focused on short circuits on a competitive bike.

I don't really have any favourites though. They are all heroes.

For me O Show massively deserves it, been here a long time, done his time in lower classes and been a force, had some truly awful luck and shown he is more than quick enough.

he has a massive lead and I would hate for the ending part to start and bad luck take i it off him, only he really deserves the title for me.

This is not great for Macekenzie, this is twice at this place he has taken out Oshow, just needs to stop his ego a bit, that was a fair move but an awful result. Team I hope will rollock him senseless, but I get the feeling he can do no wrong at times

It was a racing incident .

There was a decent gap and he went for it and got thru then high sided , are you saying there should be team orders despite both riders being in contention for the title ?

I agree. What happened was unfortunate, but it wasn't reckless, stupid or ego driven.
As a spectator I don't want to see a bunch of fannies riding round in a 'After you Claude' manner.

The whole showdown scenario can fro for me too, I'd love to see it go back to a normal championship and not a championship within a championship wrapped up in an enigma.

It was just unfortunate. Nothing more. He was well past O'H when he went down and had passed him cleanly.

I don't think anyone can fairly level accusations of 'ego" at him. I don't think he's that sort of person/rider at all.

I think Tarran's reaction to winning the race today shows that he isn't 'that' sort of person. Seems quite humble and down to earth.

Just a young rider racing hard and trying to make a career of it.

They fist bumped on the podium and clinked bottles after spraying the champagne.

Listening to the O'Halloran episode on Chasin the racin. It would seem they've not been best of friends since silverstone 2019, but maintain a professional working relationship.

Amazingly, there are some Facebook muppets blaming O Halloran for this crash! HIs fault for trying to go around the outside, apparently!

The Yam guys clearly have issues with each other, i felt sorry for Gino Rea, who was 4th and trying for 3rd up in the inside, but who had to go wide to avoid the carnage and ended up 6th.

The guy is in a team where his team mate almost has a hand on the title and he pulls a desperate last lap dive into a notoriously tough corner, takes them both out, they should be tearing strips off him at McAms to be honest, especially after he did it before too. This is not the riding of a guy who races for a team really.

Luckily the result was not that bad for Jason, but I can imagine the team after were not happy. I get you have to try and win, but against a team mate, a desperate lunge and risking everything, can you imagine if Brookes did it to Byrne or Iddon, they would get a public dressing down and rightly so from Bird.

I just get the feeling that Taz can literally get away with murder sometimes, when the helmet is on he is as ruthless as they come, even when it is off he is the smiley nice guy. His Dad was just the same.

yes

It wasn't even a particularly risky move. Obviously sods law it went wrong given their history at this track.
