wink

A woman I may have gotten to know quite well thought a CX500 looked quite good, so perhaps it's not a bad thing.

It's interesting the exhaust comes out of the side, but then I thought it was interesting the 310 BMW has the exhaust coming out of the back of the cylinder head instead of the front.

Would that have easy fail, sacrificial exhaust bolts so they snap in the event in sliding up the road? Could the exhaust headers double up as snap off crash bars?

Is it chain drive?

It's shaft drive and the swing arm looks good to me.

I've a bit of thing for red stitching, also featured on Aprilia Shiver 900 seat. I prefer the minty green colour just as I liked the silver and minty green V7 Special.

I'm fortunate enough to have visited Lake Como and Garda.

Is that a third party render or will it really happen? Looks right up my street tbh.

Did anybody else think 'Streethawk' when they first saw that?

Not really a bike I'd buy, but it does look canny.

Streethawk had a bigger rear sprocket. wink

It does seem a bit 80s.

Was it the CX Turbo or XJ Turbo that had an electric front screen?

To me it makes sense that they have rotated the cylinder heads. Now the injection throttle bodies are in the centre of the engine. This makes for straight flow in and out.

Also provides huge improvements in knee room for those that have ridden older Guzzi's.

It's similar to what BMW did when the GS etc all went liquid cooled. Throttle body moved from behind the cylinder to on top. Exhaust moved from in front to underneath.

It’s a tdm 900 with an engine that makes it harder to filter on.

Good looking,….do me a favour.

What’s the biking world come to? We’ve given up, I tell ya!

Generally not my type of thing - but there is something rather appealing about it!
I'd still be worried about the jugs sticking out like that though if it were to take a trip down the road.

If you hit something hard enough to smash the engine, I suspect that the damage to the bike would not be uppermost in your mind. smile

Retro Le Mans 1, please.

Green with the gold forks and gold cam covers and wheels looks good. Not sure about the yellow seat branding embroidery. I like red stitching but suspect it wouldn't look good on the green one.

Indeed, no more knees on the carbs. Also, I would think makes for an easier/better airflow for the central airbox - although would require tank off job for any manual tweaking, but I suppose the days of needing to get a scewdriver in there are over...
