Hi all,

Saw a video the other day from the US where they used a Pit Bull paddock stand with a 'tire wedge' to support the rear wheel during removal. They don't appear to have a UK distributor so I'm wondering if anybody here has found anything like it for sale here? I've put a photo below, seems a really good idea to prevent damage to the swingarm when removing the wheel.

Thanks in advance

Most people just use an offcut of wood.

Yup, top tip on the air wedge !! Thanks

Need to be a bloody octopus to fit the B-Kings rear wheel with all the spacers and caliper slider etc without leaving gouges in the swingarm. Will order a set now

I've always used my foot but I've damaged bikes in the past doing it and I'm still in the 'new bike want to keep it perfect' phase!

Yeah, I have 3 or 4 offcuts of board which stack to the right height. Sliding one of the middle ones in or out raises or lowers the wheel. It's a bit Heath-Robinson, but simple and solid.

No worries, they are so much easier than any other method and you can line everything up to the millimetre and the spindle will slide straight in, no more back pain from trying to lift and hold the wheel whilst juggling calipers and spindles trying to make it all fit, I almost bought another Triumph once after ttting about trying to put the wheel back in my MT09 just because it had a single sided swingarm hehe

I find having a bike with a single sided swinging arm stops all that hassle so would recommend buying one of those winkbiggrin
