Which Brake Pads? (OEM Upgrade)

Looking new pads for my K5 GSXR 600.

Any recommendations for ones that are a step up from OEM?

And wont be using them for track days...

EBC HH or SBS.

People are quite tribal about brake pads and will claim one superior to the other.

I’ve tried EBC and SBS on the same bike and preferred EBC but they do have a characteristic ‘hiss’ which some don’t like.

SBS RS are my favourite for the road. Been through a fair few sets and never found a reason to change.

I find SBS rs great on the track, but a bit too aggressive for the road.
I'm not sure if it's a case of needing to build heat in them that's hard to maintain on the road.

That said I might try them on my panigale v2 - I'm not a big fan of the compound that came as stock.

Stopping power just doesn't feel that strong.
