What are these vintage heads and barrels off?

I'm trying to identify these engine parts.
Although there are three of them, I suspect that they are off a Vee twin of some sort.
My old mate to whom they belonged messed about with old Scott motorbikes as well as pre-war Morgan 3 wheelers amongst other things.
I don't think they're JAP, bit I've no idea what they are.

My guess would be a fore-and-aft Douglas. Look at the orientation of the cylinder fins.
