Hated mine, hard to start, I had a spare battery in the boot, odd handling small wheels and leaning and bumps were not fun
Mine was old and knackered though, good bit fit a skirt and you'll be as dry as you can be on a wet day
Test ride it if you can, maybe I was just not meant to be a scooter boy

Had a ride of it this morning and have been to the bank for a wad of folding. I'm collecting it later. Handling seemed great on my test and it's really light. The seat must be the comfiest I've ever sat on/in!Mine was old and knackered though, good bit fit a skirt and you'll be as dry as you can be on a wet day

Good thinking on the skirt front. I've got some bar muffs that I bought but never used on the V7 last winter. With my heated gloves plugged into the handy socket on the dash, I'll be toasty!

I used a xmax300 for my daily for over two years, excellent tool, I don’t get why more people don’t use them to be honest.
I thought I was a full convert on the way in...then I caught sight of my reflection in a shop window. I know why more people don't use them!carinaman said:

Used pipes just don't seem to exist, probably because they've all gone the way of mine. NOS parts from Wemoto/Fowlers etc are anything from, £950-£1200!!!! Ebay turned up a replacement in stainless in Poland for £150 delivered, so I bit the bullet. It needed a bit of filing of the bolt holes to get them to fit over the studs, but I think it looks pretty good. Still leaking from the joint, so I've ordered a gasket which should arrive tomorrow.
That's water, by the way.

Any known issues I should be looking out for? I've seen one locally that seems cheap enough. It'd mean I can keep the vagina for dry days and fun...
Fixed that for you I've always wanted a go on these. A guy at work has the 650cc one and it's like a goldwing for comfort. It has power folding mirrors for filtering through tight spots and heated seats. No brainer for winter commuting.

That's what I was thinking. If it serves as I want it to, I might look at an upgrade next year.I've always wanted a go on these. A guy at work has the 650cc one and it's like a goldwing for comfort.
