Donington National BSB

I'll be there all weekend and will likely be sat on the banking infront of the grandstand at Hollywood, which is a decent place to watch from.
Staying on the same side of the track (outside) you could wander further down the hill and watch from the middle of Craner curves, or go infield and watch from the same spot, again both decent viewing spaces and loads of room on the banking.

Best viewing point would be the infield, overlooking Craners, Old Hairpin, Schwantz, up into Macleans. Basically half the track.
There's a toilet block to the right as you come out of the tunnel, go past that and to the left.
That's exactly where I always try to get anytime anytime I go to Donington. Brilliant place to view from. There's a toilet block to the right as you come out of the tunnel, go past that and to the left.

That’s my favourite spot. The memories from the late 80’s of watching Gardner, Rainey and Schwantz go down there steering on the back wheel and pulling a wheelie whilst banked over will stay with me forever. The only thing that comes close is watching the TT.

I remember viewing from there in '91 and managing to get a little bit of the torn rubber from Schwantz's rear tyre when he was mobbed by the crowd on the slow down lap just after the Old Hairpin.
Same year the crowd were going crazy for Haslam on the screaming JPS Norton making one of its rare appearances.
I'm Mr unpopular of County Durham today.
I thought I had booked weekend tickets for myself, my Mrs and my son.
We are also booked in to the Priest House Hotel (in the Norton grounds) on Friday and Saturday night.
Except I went to print out the tickets today and I've only booked tickets for the Sunday ... And only for 2 of us!!!
Should hopefully be able to buy the missing tickets on the gate tomorrow.

Looked interesting today with the 'mixed' weather!
Shame that Brookes hasn't made much progress despite all the efforts
In his Eurosport chat with Whit I got the distinct impression he was going to say "looking...for another ride..." when he said "looking...silly" with regard to thinking they may have found something but couldn't be sure.
