Enduro bikes,what do I need to know.

I was going to get a road bike but somehow enduro has crept into my weird thought process and it seems like a good idea.

What do I need to know about bikes,good and bad?

Hi ish maintenance requirements , used bikes can be abused money pits ,
lots of fun off road not so great on the road
Magnet for thieves, What were you planning to do ? Green laning or competition??

Green laneing and if the bug bites,may be the odd competition.

Don't give into temptation for a 450, get a 250 4 stroke, more than enough for green laning and competition.
A Yamaha WR250f is what I ride, very reliable, quick and great fun to ride.

Totally agree not to go 450 or 500 4 stroke but Id go 350 rather than 250. The extra torque is useful.
