I need a recommendation to insure a very much non standard bike. All panels including petrol tank are carbon as well as quite a few other upgrades.

I’m guessing a quote from ‘confused’ won’t cut it !

I have three other bikes but can’t seem to get them all under one umbrella as one is considered a classic , one is too modern, one is a winter hack and now a significantly modified one in the mix.

Any suggestions?

Bemoto. Great for multi bike. They are brokers. Give them a ring

+1 for Bemoto

I did a few bits to my bike over winter and re-insured for less with Bemoto than the standard bike was insured for with MCE.

Thank you gents. Spoken to them today and I’m getting a call back on Wednesday to go through details of all the bikes and try do one blanket policy.

Many thanks

Just to say Bemoto came up trumps and insured a Ducati with £4k worth of carbon and 2018 Cb500 for £350 fc and all mods declared . Will use them when my other bikes are due .

Thanks for the suggestions

Good to hear, I'll be going back to them again if they're competitive on renewal.

+1 for Bemoto. I have a similar bike with carbon bodywork and 50 modifications / parts itemised and sent to them. Still pretty reasonable.

Edit: Quote 44teeth for free extras on cover.

I go through 'wicked quotes' (they used to be Ducati Insurance before that went to Adrian Flux and I won't use them) for my modified S2r 800 (different brakes, suspension, exhausts, PC, carbon bodywork etc etc) and they were just under half the price I had from Bemoto.

When I added my modified 748 to go to multi-bike on my current policy (853cc with different wheels, brakes, suspension, exhaust, ecu, paintwork, etc) it went up by just over £100 for the remaining 10 months.
