So just interested What is the quickest road bike for under 2k? I’m seen a cb1300 on the bay for 2k and a xjr1300 .i might want to try tuning it at some point aswell

I'd think a Blackbird would be hard to beat when it comes to being the fastest for under £2000

You'll struggle to get any 1000cc sportsbikes and blackbirds now for that price but a Zzr1100 can be found for that money.
145hp or so and genuine 170+ mph... Not sure much would touch it in a straight line for under 2k!

You forgot a K1300s which has toppled over both sides in a carpark;)

Just had a quick look on autotrader, seems to be a few contenders

Seen an early R1 for £1800, a blackbird for £1600 and quite a few ZX-9Rs or Daytona 955s, it depends what you are planning to do with it to classify it as fastest.

Nice ZZR1200's can be had for 2k, you won't get much quicker for the money.

Yup, you really can't go wrong with Honda reliability.

Even if it has sat for five years and hasn't had an oil change for ten, it will still hit 100k without causing you any major issues.
