I was tempted. Seems a cracking engine and cycle parts for the price with the throttle/fuelling being a bit iffy

I had one for about 18 months and felt it very solid with classically characterful and torquey v-twin. Only fly in the ointment was the slightly snatchy throttle/fuelling. I found 'race' mode too much around town, so just left it in 'road' most of the time and you soon got used to it. Definitely worth a test ride at least!
I test rode one a few years ago. Despite being unloved it was a nice bike to ride and I was tempted. I then rode a sorted one and was very tempted, they are a nice ride.
What put me off in the end was the plastic tanks they have expanding with ethanol in petrol. Eventually they stop fitting properly - at least on the early ones. I don't know if this has been sorted on later models, but I got rid of my Ducati Multistrada for the same reason as the expanded tank eventually started leaking petrol.
I also recall from the Aprilia Forum they are quite thirsty for the performance - mid 30s mpg.
If I had the cash I'd probably buy a new one from Wheels of Peterborough and make sure you had in writing the tank was covered as part of their Lifetime Warranty. https://www.wheelsmotorcycles.co.uk/aprilia/new-bi...
Actually I lie, if I had the cash I'd buy a Ducati Monster 821, which is a faster, more economical bike with a steel fuel tank.
