I'm drawing a bit of blank with this so I'm putting it out there. Me and OH would like to hire one for a few days this August while taking a break and so far i'm not having much luck in finding a business that might be able to help. Anyone got any suggestions?

Cheers thumbup

Have you ever ridden one on the road, I had one for a short while years back, most scary thing I’ve ever driven.

I didn't even know that sidecar hire was a thing!

It might be a case of ringing round people who do hire them out and see if they can arrange collection and return somewhere near where you want to be.

I think the limiting factor might turn out to be the size of your wallet in the long run...

Watsonian Squire who make sidebars and used to be the Royal Enfield importer apparently do tryouts. Think Ural do as well. Primarily to stop the uninitiated going straight into a ditch.

I quite often ride a sidecar outfit and it's the most fun I've had on a bike!

Morgan 3 wheeler a good shout - would be great fun and easier to find a hire place.

Kind of feel like they look - a classic skinny-tyred bike crossed with a car. Loved the one I had a go in, felt brilliant, although the brakes were truly "classic"/poor. Encouraged sedate cruising.

There used to be a sidecar availbale for hire in Scotland (on an R Nine T) but I don't think its there any more. Otherwise now basically no motorycle hire between the London area & Edinburgh that I know of.
