BSB Oulton Park

It will be interesting to see following the final lockdown restrictions not been lifted, what happens at the first BSB meeting of the season at Oulton Park.

Having booked a ticket for the test in May that I was unable to attend due to work, I’ll be gutted if I miss the main event (ticket booked a week ago).

Any ideas as to what they’ll actually do as regards Spectators.

Just hijacking this thread to say that I've still got two weekend tickets with reserved camping going for half price....

I'm with Freak on that, its not on the UKs list of test events so will be behind closed doors if it goes ahead ..... for some reason bike sport isn't being given the same latitude as horse racing, tennis etc and other upper class sports .....

Oh goodie . That was the one thing I was looking forward to. I’m still annoyed that I missed the testing.

At least there’s next years extended TT to look forward to.

Ah I take it back then, I saw you couldn't buy a ticket so assumed it was a no spectator event, MotoRapido also mentioned something on FB.

Enjoy it, at least it'll be easy getting in and out for a change!!

I used to live 2 miles up the road from Oulton and even then I'd cycle in via the backlanes as it is always murder.

That’s good news. I have tickets for the WSBK at Donington on the 3rd July and haven’t seen anything yet. No update from MSV or WSBK. I guess it will also depend on them getting the teams in. But this makes it look more hopeful!

Same issue for us club racers. We're not allowed out of the paddock areas, even when spectators aren't allowed in. Makes no sense. Keep everyone penned in in one location, rather than have them spread out...

Your WSBK tickets, booked for this year or rolled over from last year? I rolled mine over but I've heard nothing since, I'll give them a few days yet though.

To answer my own question, just had an email from Donington, ticket holders who rolled over from 2020 should bring 2020 tickets, they are still valid

New booking this year. Just to add I’ve had an email from MSV. It’s going ahead but with modifications. No pit walks, limited access ways through the paddocks. Hollywood stand reconfigured so might lose my seat! Heh ho, only one class of racing and all this but what the hell day out watching bikes. Then roll on BSB at Cadwell in August, hopefully that will be all good.

Did you manage to get rid of both tickets?

Looks like I'm healed enough to be able to ride down now, so if you have them still ill take the pair off you?
