I didn’t realise that Remy Gardner was moving up to Moto GP.

As a teenager I was a huge fan of his Dad Wayne. Spectacular to watch his NSR500 going sideways.

As much as i'd love to see a brit in the premier class i'm not sure Dixon is it, there are plenty of other riders in Moto 2 who stand a stronger chance of winning.

I think it has a lot to do with his potential, that he is well respected within SRT, and he's popular with fans, probably more so than Sam Lowes at the moment.

Plus no Brit in the top class at the moment.

I honestly believe (and have done for a number of years) that Jake is our best long term prospect in Moto GP.

This is clearly going to be a make or break year for him in Moto 2. Let’s hope he can replicate and build on the flashes of brilliance that we saw last year.

Couldn’t be any worse on present form.

Wouldn't surprise me. I like Rins but he's blown it last two seasons. I'd love to see him turn it round.

Frankie is feeling rightfully undervalued at Petronas.

Gresini have a deal to bring Diggia up to MotoGP next year and Bastianini has a deal direct with Ducati and isn't a VR46 rider so would likely take the second seat there. Team Butcher lineup will likely be Marini and Bezzecchi. Can't see Pramac not renewing Zarco for next year.

Remy has impressed hugely this year, I would guess Tech 3 will ditch both riders and maybe put both Ajo guys on that bike, as Fernandez has impressed also, might stay another year maybe. But Remy is showing proper champions potential. Lecuona is not a GP level rider and Danilo has gone as far as he can really. Get rid of both,

All seems very likely.

Personally, I'd rather see Mav be shown the door and go back to Suzuki, and Franky take the factory seat.

I like this scenario.

Mav might even get his mojo back.

Is Vinales contract until the end of 2022? If I was Yamaha I would be punting him on, he's never going to win a championship, certainly not at Yamaha. Yamaha should move quickly to bring Frankie in to replace him or he'll be off at the end of the year.

I thought Peco was lined up to remain at Ducati for 2022 also?

I'm not sure. I thought he was only on a one year deal but I'll try and find out.

Zarco and Martin both given by one year extensions by Pramac this morning.
