Impressive Rider

It’s ok, I suspect it’s not his first lap, but it’s not ‘that’ quick really. He seems a bit point and sqirty, not particularly ‘smooth’.
Anyone work out what bike it is? Gixer?
I think it's maybe a BMW.
As road bikes get ever more powerful they are becoming more and more point and squirt machines. The Megane has high grip in the corners and relatively weak straight line accel, the bike has not quite so high grip in the corners and very strong straight line accel. So viewed from the Megane the biike rider seems to be a point and squirt rider, but I think the rider is doing a good job.

So much so there's a compilation video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFMIHqw2JwY

I'm sure that's Andy Carlisle riding, but just trying to fool the viewers into thinking it's his Dad. Definitely gets more views and shares doing it that way.poo at Paul's said:

The driver in the Megane does loads of laps and is quick.
Exactly - I thought they were both impressive - lapping safely and quickly in a TF session is a real skill (and I certainly can't do it). Must admit I'd have serious pause about whether I'd want to do a TF day on a bike. Too many old clappers running around dropping oil or cutting across straight sections.
