125cc Scooter prices - is there some kind of shortage?
Discussion
I've got a 2017 Yamaha N-Max that I'm not using, so I thought about selling it.
I paid £2,350 for it in April 2018 with 600 miles on the clock - from a Yamaha franchised dealer.
Looking on ebay, the same model and age, but with 4,000+ miles on the clock is selling for £2,850.
Given that it appears I have an appreciating asset I think I might hold on to it.
Any ideas why 2nd hand prices appear to have gone a bit silly.

We bought a 51 plate Vespa 4 years ago for £500.
I've used it through a few winters, my Mrs rode it for a couple of years while she only had her CBT and my son learned to ride on it too.
I sold it over Christmas with it needing a new exhaust, attention paid to the starter and a few other minor jobs, for £500 in the space of 3 days. I could have sold it 10 times over as well and probably got more than £500 too.
I wonder if all these people buying 125's at the minute already have CBT's? Or if they are buying them ready for when the training centers open up again?
