701 Satnav Mount options
Discussion
Asking for a mate:
He has a Husky 701 Supermoto, last year's model with the Casio-esque speedo. It seems KTM 690 range is pretty much identical, & their Powerparts satnav mount should fit straight onto the handlebars above the yokes.
Q: is the speedo actually visible when fitting, say, a Garmin Zumo on this mount? Any KTM/Husky owners here have any experience with this set up? It all looks a bit tight.......

Looking at some photos, it seems the centre mount could block the instrument cluster. Also, have a think about if you will ever want to use a tank bag.
On my 950SM, I found the best mount for it was to the side, next to the review mirror. Not the sexiest, but definitely the most "useful". I've got a center bar mount on my r9T, and it ever so slightly blocks the clusters, but annoyingly it prevents using a bar bag or even a tank bag.
