Have posted on a couple of FB forums with limited success.
Had a couple of potentials but owners decided at last minute that they changed their mind and didn’t want to sell. Also had one remove it from sale then say he wanted 5k more 🙄.
Guess I will keep on scanning the inter webs.

Don't know if its any help but I follow a place called Iconic Motorcycles on Instagram, he often has these for sale and has shipped to the UK in the past.
My first thought as well and as you say, quite often buys from and ships to the UK...https://iconicmotorbikeauctions.com/

They are rather delicious....
Question, the Kawasaki ZXR750-H1 ticks similar retro boxes for me and is slightly more obtainable.
Has anyone ridden one and care to compare to the RC30?
I realise it might be an apples to oranges question
I'd love to know this too, as it's the one and only sports bike on my bucket list.Question, the Kawasaki ZXR750-H1 ticks similar retro boxes for me and is slightly more obtainable.

Apples to oranges only in that the base model ZXR was not the intended competitor to the RC-30, you would want the ZXR-750R Question, the Kawasaki ZXR750-H1 ticks similar retro boxes for me and is slightly more obtainable.

I used to have a ZXR-750-H1 on road and track. It was a great bike. If you upgrade and service the suspension, fit decent lightweight exhaust/filter/tune, modern tyres etc then you can still have fun on track days riding around with modern stuff. You will have about 110bhp in a 200kg bike so its middleweight kind of performance level. You sit in it rather than on it and the induction noise is awesome. The most noticeable let down for me every time I rode it was the brakes. If you are used to riding a modern sportsbike with latest 1 finger braking capability you need to reset your expectations. There are plenty of upgrade options out there though, I never got past a new set of pads/fluid.
Ive never ridden an RC30 to compare the riding experience though. From reading reviews at the time the RC30 was more about the out of the box setup, engine character/noise and of course the famous Honda build quality.
If you want an original Superbike riding experience, then a well sorted ZXR will certainly give you that......there are other homologation specials worth looking, that are not as pricey as RC30 e.g. GSX-R750R and ZXR750R or YZF750R

I hadn't really looked at the Yamaha seems to be quite rare also....
My friend has the Gixxer so its either a Yamaha or Kawasaki to fit the joint collection!
@Maxrobot
Find yourself a nice ZXR750L, mild tuning and enjoy the fantastic 750 glory days.
I have a homologation ZXR750R, and a ZXR750 L3 with some mild mods(pipe/clean air mod/rejetted). The R has a stronger top end powerband, the L3 a much better low end torque, both are fantastic fun but the L3 is better suited to regular use because you can take more liberties with it knowing that it’s worth a fraction of the R.
Both are magnificent beasts

Easy. Just fly to Australia, do your quarantine, go and get your 95000 dollars out of the bank and you’re good to go.
