How do you keep them in?

Stopped using the expanding foam plugs and switched to Auritech (the orange universal fit ones). Tried using them for the first time this afternoon, got them properly seated in my ears but everytime I pull my helmet on they dislodge (had about 8 attempts and gave up)

Anyone else experienced this? Worth perseverance or bin them ?

I’ve been using mine for a couple of years, I was dubious about spending £20 on some but never had any problems and they work well with my intercom.

On similar types I've cut down the end so they are harder to remove but don't stick out so far

(I assume the filter is within the plug section)

Are you sure you're sticking them in far enough? Try pulling your outer ear forward with your opposite hand, and see if that lets you put them in further.

i have just swapped to them, worked ok on a long journey on Friday, didn't fall out, i heard a different sound than using the ones i swapped them for which were alpine motosafe

either are ok and better than the expensive molded ones which just never seam to fit correctly all the time i had them

This. You need to push them in further than you think. I've been using mine for about a year and never had them fall out.

I've been using foam earplugs for years without any problem.

Bennetts rewards had the Auritec ones on off the other week so I figured I'd give them a try. I think they are spot on. I've done about 1200 miles worth of riding in them now, with a couple of those rides being 300 mile days out and I really cant fond a bad word to say about them.
All day comfort, they stay constantly sealed in the ear and they block out the wind noise perfectly even on a naked bike at 3 figure speeds.

I bought a pair a while back and just never got on with them. Any movement and they seem to start coming out. I have tried the trick of pulling my ear forward with my opposite hand and that still did not work for me. I really did wish they worked, but just not for my ear canals.

I would like to have a proper custom earplugs made and will investigate that option when life hopefully gets back to normal. For now the 3M E-A-R foam earplugs are my 1st choice.

On my second pair after 5 years and they are excellent. Sometimes I forget to take them off and they fall out when having a shower!

I’ve been using the same ones for the last 6 or 7 years and I highly rate them after being a little dubious.

I always wet my fingers then wet the ear plugs so they slip in easier (oo-er)

Once bought a pair and threw them in a bin during first ride. No idea if they work or not just could not take to them at all. No slight on the product or people who like them just deffo not for me, it felt odd putting some thing shaped like that deep onto my ear all I could think about was will it damage my ear.

If I'm out with others and likely to be stopping frequently then I use the Auritech plugs, but they haven't replaced the 3M disposable plugs as I find I get a bit of whistling ear after long fastish journeys.

Never mind getting them in, I couldn't get them out. Luckily I have a mini Leatherman on my keyring and used the pliers!

You see in moto gp the riders using long nose pliers quite often to get their ear plugs out!! P
