My bike makes a weird sound. The sound it makes can only be described as a mix of Centre Stand scraping along the road, even though my bike doesn't have one, a kissy kissy sucky sound and someone keeping the start button pushed in whilst it's ticking over. It happens with the engine on or whilst pushing the bike with the engine off.
The bike is a CB Hornet.

Anyone?

"Kissy kissy sucky sound"

I dare not say what I'm thinking.

With the bike off as in key out, no power on, but rolling in neutral?

Engine on but in neutral not moving, or when moving?

Sucky noise might be fuel pump, scraping as its on its way out and whining for the same reason.

Any idea where abouts it's coming from? Any running symptoms?

Not very helpful to withhold the benefit of your ancient wisdom!

The fact that it happens with engine off means presumably means you could get down on all fours right up close and then ask your partner to push it backwards and forwards repeatedly til it squeaks / sucks / kisses / giggles and you can identify it. The partially lubed rubber guide for the chain would be my guess.

Perhaps a video may help us?
