Not Motorrad
IME Warranty will cover Xenon bulbs. Not regular ones.
You "might" get some form of goodwill, but tbh Id be surprised, it depends on how good a relationship you have with your dealer.
Offer to buy the genuine BMW bulb from them if they agree to fit it for free.IME Warranty will cover Xenon bulbs. Not regular ones.

Probably costs about the same as three hours labour...

People say that oftenProbably costs about the same as three hours labour...
But the price for consumable stuff like Batteries and Bulbs are generally there or thereabouts in my experience. A decent Bosch H7 bulb ought to be within a quid or so of Halfords at a dealer. Probably marginally cheaper at Euro Car Parts.
Obviously shop around first

Oh FFS, someone else with a humour bypass...
Oh look.Someone who just assumes dealers are ridiculously expensive and continues to make false statements to that end.
Then tries to dig out of the hole by claiming person pointing out facts has "humour bypass"
But hey, carry on
Very much doubt it is covered.
I had a similar ball-ache on my VFR800, first time I did it was a fest of skinned knuckles and profanity.
It gets easier the more you do it, but lots of modern bikes are built with packaging lots of components into a tiny space with surrounding plastics to look cosmetically good, alas this doesn't always sit well with home maintenance.

You could practice for the bulb change by first spending a few hours fitting a replacement BMW ignition switch. This will render you capable of contortions which the Incredibles can only dream of, and thus make the bulb change seem inordinately simple.
You may, of course, ask me how I know.

Mate, I've worked for main dealers, I know how expensive (or inexpensive) they can be; as an example, Honda batteries made by Yuasa (which is owned by Honda anyway) often retail for less than the Yuasa branded equivalent.
In my experience, BMW main dealer parts prices are generally at least 10-25% more expensive than the equivalent part for a Japanese bike.
If you want cheaper BM parts you need a specialist such as Motorworks, Motobins or Sherlocks.
